Burnley have been relegated from the Premier League following a 2-1 defeat to Tottenham Hotspur.
The win kept Tottenham’s Champions League hopes alive, PROMPT NEWS reports.
Jacob Bruun Larsen gave the Clarets hope of three points when he opened scoring on 25 minutes.
A fine solo effort from Pedro Porro seven minutes later gave the home team the equaliser.
Spurs dominated the second half, but it took an 82nd-minute strike from Van de Ven to secure their victory.
Burnley now know they will be playing back in the Championship next term, with the defeat seeing them relegated with a game to play. READ ALSO:
