Bundesliga club Bayer Leverkusen have announced the signing of Nigeria forward Victor Boniface.
Boniface, who joined Leverkusen from Belgian Pro League club, Union St Gilloise penned a contract until 2028.
The 28-year-old will jersey number 22 at at his new club.
The striker spent one season at Union St. Gilloise following his arrival from Norwegian club, Bodo/Glimt last summer.
Boniface scored again Leverkusen in the UEFA Europa League last season.
The striker netted six times and provided two assists in the competition.

“It’s a special opportunity that I really wanted to take advantage of. I experienced the atmosphere here in the stadium myself, and even then I could guess the capacities that this club has,”he told the club’s official website.
