Renowned Nollywood actress Bukky Wright has revealed she is not ruling out the possibility of remarrying—provided it aligns with God’s will.
Speaking in a recent interview with the BBC, the Yoruba movie star made it clear that while she is still interested in marriage, she will only consider it if divinely ordained.
“If God has a man who goes to the age of six, I won’t wait until he is five and a half,” she stated.

“If God says he will go to the top of the mountain, he will not stop until he reaches the top of the mountain.”
She added, “It’s something I like, but only if God forbids it. I don’t tell women to try it, because I like it.”
Beyond her views on marriage, Wright also addressed what she described as a growing culture of indecency among women in Nigeria—not just within the film industry.
She noted that the trend of exposing one’s body is becoming more common, even outside the entertainment world.
“It’s not only actresses doing it—many women in the country are now exposing themselves,” she said.
Wright also mentioned that when she questions men on whether they like women dressing in revealing outfits, most say they prefer modesty.
“I ask men if it’s because of them that women expose their breasts, and most of them say they like their women fully covered,” she added.
The screen veteran further reflected on changes in the movie industry, noting that the evolution of equipment and production tools has significantly impacted the craft.
She rounded off by encouraging her supporters to be on the lookout for her upcoming project, which she hinted will be unveiled soon.
