Victor Boniface will jet back to Germany on Sunday (today), while he awaits AC Milan’ s decision on his transfer, Prompt News reports
The Nigeria international was subjected to series of tests on Friday, and Saturday as AC Milan seek full assurance on his fitness status.
A decision on the transfer is expected to be made this week.
AC Milan have agreed to sign Boniface on loan with option to buy.
The forward injured his right knee in 2019, and 2020, and the Rooseneri want
to take time before putting him under contract.
The 24-year-old also battled with muscle problems last season.
According to Gazetta, it is increasingly likely that Milan will abandon negotiations, although a decision has yet to be taken.
The Rooseneri could still end up signing Boniface and another centre-forward in the final days of the transfer window.
