Bayer Leverkusen forward Victor Boniface is up for the UEFA Europa League Goal of the Week award.
Boniface’s was recognised for his superb goal in Xabi Alonso’s side 5-1 thrashing of Qarabag on Thursday night.
The 22-year-old slammed the ball into far corner after he was set up midfielder Florian Writz.
The Nigerian striker has so far scored two goals and provided one assist in three appearances in the competition this season.
Boniface has registered 10 goals across all competitions for the Bundesliga giants.
Writz is also nominated for the award after netting once and providing three assists against Qarabag. READ ALSO:

Boniface also received his top scorer award from last season ahead of the game.
