Nigeria defender, Calvin Bassey has expressed his delight after linking up with Premier League club, Fulham.
Fulham announced the signing of the versatile defender on a four-year contract on Friday night.
The 23-year-old moved to the Craven Cottage after spending just one season at Eredivisie outfit Ajax.
Bassey made 39 appearances across all competitions for Ajax , with one goal and five assists to his name.
“I know how big of a club Fulham is. They always have quality players, they’re playing in the Premier League, the best league in the world, so I didn’t have to think much about it,”he told the club’s official website. READ ALSO:

“It’s a London club as well, so it’s always a plus to go home! I’m happy it’s all done now and I can just focus on the football and help the team build on last season, when they did amazing.”
Bassey will shirt number 3 at the London club.
