According to a statement by the DMO, the bonds are a 14.55 per cent, April 2029 FGN Bond, a 12.50 per cent, April 2032 FGN Bond and a 16.24 per cent, April 2037 FGN Bond. The bonds have original tenors of 10 years, 10 years and 20 years, respectively.  The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has said that 13,442 newly printed Permanent Voter Cards (PVCs) are still uncollected by their owners in Borno. INEC’s Head of Department, Voter Education and Publicity (VEP) in the state, Malam Shuaibu Ibrahim made this known to the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) on Wednesday in Maiduguri. He said the electoral body supplied 25,171 PVCs for the newly registered voters, adding that only 11,729 of the cards had so far been collected in the state. A 19-year-old, Jinadu Micheal, was docked at an Ikeja Magistrate’s Court on Wednesday for unlawful possession of firearms. The police charged him with a three-count charge of unlawful possession of firearms.
