An Iyaganku Magistrates’ Court in Ibadan on Thursday ordered that one Nate Kasa, 31, be remanded in a correctional centre for allegedly murdering a 20-year-old man, Danmagaji Sanjo. Kasa, whose residential address was not provided, was charged with murder. The Magistrate, Mrs S. A. Adesina did not take the plea of the suspect for want of jurisdiction. Adesina directed the police to return the case file to the Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP) for legal advice. She adjourned the case until Dec. 21 for mention. The Prosecutor, Insp. A housewife, Maryam Ibrahim, has approached a Grade I Area Court, Kubwa, seeking the dissolution of her marriage to her husband, Ahmed Mohammed, for lack of love. Federal and local authorities in the Czech Republic have spent nearly 680 million euros (662 million U.S. dollars) on housing and provisions for Ukrainian refugees, the Finance Ministry said. An estimated 285 million euros has been spent on social benefits, 143 million euros on health care and 100 million on housing. The National Bureau of Statistics (NBS), says total credit allocated to the private sector by the banking industry in Q1 of 2021 stands at N62.28 trillion. This is according to the NBS Selected Banking Sector Data for Q1 to Q4 2021 released in Abuja on Thursday. The report said that the top three credit allocations went into the oil and gas industrial, manufacturing, and the general service sectors with N11.97 trillion (19.22 per cent), N9.82 trillion (15.77 per cent ), and N5.55 trillion (8.92 per cent).
