The All Progressives Congress has rejected a report circulating across media platforms claiming to reveal the cost of its expression of interest and nomination forms for the 2027 general elections.
The report, which surfaced on Friday, alleged that presidential aspirants would be required to pay N200 million, while candidates seeking seats in state houses of assembly would pay N20 million.
Reacting in a statement on Saturday, the party’s National Publicity Secretary, Felix Morka, described the claim as false and not attributable to the party.
He said the APC had taken note of the publication, which he characterised as misleading and lacking any official backing.
According to him, the party had yet to take a decision on the sale or pricing of nomination forms for the 2027 elections.
Morka stressed that no formal announcement had been issued by the party regarding the matter.
He further dismissed the report as unfounded, insisting it did not reflect the position of the ruling party.
The APC spokesman urged members, media organisations, and the general public to disregard the information.
