Nigeria’s Super Eagles have been drawn in Pot A for the 2027 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers, Prompt News Online reports.
The draw ceremony will take place at the headquarters of the Egypt Football Association (EFA) on Tuesday.
Other African football powerhouses placed in Pot A include Morocco, Senegal, Algeria, Egypt, Côte d’Ivoire, and Tunisia.
A total of 48 countries will compete in the qualification series for the tournament, which will be jointly hosted by Kenya, Tanzania, and Uganda.
The top two teams from each group will secure qualification for the competition.
The 2027 Africa Cup of Nations is scheduled to run from June 19 to July 17, 2027.
