Trabzonspor forward, Paul Onuachu is expected to take the place of Paul Onuachu in Nigeria’s squad for the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations.
Sadiq became the third Nigerian player to pull out of the competition after sustaining a knee Injury in the Super Eagles’ friendly against Guinea on Monday.
The Real Sociedad is expected to be out for three weeks.
The 26-year-old will fly to Spain today to get further treatment on the injury.
Onuachu’s inclusion will now depend on approval from his Turkish Super Lig outfit Trabzonspor. READ ALSO:

The 29-year-old missed the AFCON 2021 finals with injury.
