Nollywood actress Seilat Adeyemo has shared the sad news of her father’s passing.

The actress made the announcement in an Instagram post on Monday, revealing that her father “fought so hard” before he died.

Expressing her grief, Adeyemo described the loss as deeply painful, noting that it has left her feeling “shattered and broken.” She also appealed for patience from fans and well-wishers, explaining that she is currently unable to respond to messages.

“My dad fought so hard, but God loved him more and called him home to rest. I never imagined I would feel this shattered and broken. Losing a parent is a pain I wouldn’t wish on anyone,” she wrote.

“I see all your calls and messages, but I’m not in the right state of mind to respond right now. I will get back when I can. Thank you for all the love. The pain runs so deep, losing the one God used to create you.”

The actress did not disclose the cause of death or when her father passed away.

Prompt News reports Seilat Adeyemo began her acting career in the early 2000s and rose to wider recognition following her role in the 2013 film Imoran. She has since established herself as a notable figure in the Yoruba film industry, appearing in numerous productions.
