Relationship therapist and social media influencer Blessing Okoro, popularly known as Blessing CEO, has paid an emotional tribute to her nine-year-old son, Bryan, following his death.
In a post shared on her Instagram page on Sunday, she expressed the depth of her grief, recalling gifts she had promised to buy for him but could not give him before his death.
“I will keep living in denial. I miss you. I bought the iPad I promised you, and also the bicycle,” she wrote.
“This is how I will forever remember you.”
Prompt News reports Blessing said she believed her son was in heaven and promised to keep his memory alive wherever life took her.
“I know you are in Heaven, but I promise to carry your memories everywhere I go. I miss you, my baby; I will never recover from this shock. Rest on my guardian angel,” she added.
Her tribute comes days after she spoke about Bryan’s death during an interview following her release from custody, where she had spent several months.
She disclosed that her son had suffered from chronic asthma since birth and frequently required hospital treatment. According to her, she was informed while in detention that he was using two inhalers.
Blessing also said she was told that Bryan died in hospital at about 6:30 a.m. on a Monday.

She further recounted that her son had spoken about a dream in which he saw himself dying before his death on June 8. According to her, he shared the dream with some members of the family but did not tell her.
“When my son was alive, he dreamt that he died. He told his brother Darell and my sister Precious, who prayed for him. He also told my Dad, but he never told me,” she said.
Blessing CEO was released on bail on October 24 after spending months at Kirikiri Prison over separate fraud allegations.
