Mohammed Yangida, Lafia Nasarawa state Governor Umaru Al-Makura has approved the appointment of Alhaji Shehu Cindo Yamusa as the new Emir of Keffi, in Keffi Local Government Area .
The Governor made the announcement on Monday during the meeting with traditional rulers at Government House, Lafia the state capital.
He said the appointments which is with immediate effect was done in line with the 1978 plateau state legal notice law section 8 (1)(3) and the Nasarawa state legal notice section five of 2009.
Born on 4th November, 1966 in the family of Abdu Zanga royal family keffi, the new Emir, Alhaji Shehu Cindo Yamusa attended Usman Danfodio university, Sokoto, university of Dundee Scotland and international islamic university Malaysia Bachelor of law (LLB) Masters of law (ML) of law and Doctor of philosophy (PhD Energy laws) ,renewable Energy and sustainable development respectively.
Until his recent appointment, the new Emir of Keffi, Shehu Usman Yamusa is a senior lecturer in the faculty of law, Nasarawa State University Keffi .
