Media personality and broadcaster Toolz Oniru-Demuren has disclosed that she has expanded her career into filmmaking, revealing that she recently directed her first movie.
Speaking during an interview on Curiosity Made Me Ask, Toolz said the project marks her debut as a film director, stressing that although she was behind the camera, she did not appear in the movie.
She also expressed confidence that the film would premiere before the end of the year and praised the Nigerian actors who featured in the production.
“I was on radio for a while. Now I host a podcast, and I’m also now a filmmaker. It’s my first movie. I’m not in it, but I directed it,” she said.
“By God’s grace, the movie should be released before the end of the year. It has a fantastic, talented Nigerian cast.”
Despite confirming the project, Toolz did not disclose the movie’s title, release date or the identities of the cast members.
