Nigerian skit maker and digital creator Mark Angel has officially begun a new chapter in his personal life after tying the knot with his partner in a traditional marriage ceremony.
Prompt News reports videos from the event surfaced online through content creator PecyBae, who gave followers a glimpse into the colourful celebration.
The footage captured emotional moments as the couple participated in traditional rites surrounded by family members, friends and well-wishers. In one scene, the bride and groom knelt together while receiving prayers and blessings from guests.
PecyBae, who attended the event, humorously praised the reception in her caption, writing, “Na for Mark Angel wedding I finally see food chop oo. Happy married life my boss @markangelcomedy.”
The marriage comes years after Mark Angel disclosed that he had quietly ended a previous marriage. The comedian revealed in 2023 that he had been “married but divorced secretly,” though he chose not to discuss the circumstances surrounding the relationship.
Over the years, Mark Angel has become one of Africa’s most recognised online entertainers through his comedy brand, which gained international attention for viral skits featuring young talents like Emmanuella Samuel and Success Madubuike.
