The Super Eagles successfully defended their Unity Cup title with a commanding 3-0 victory over Jamaica at The Valley on Saturday, Prompt News Online reports.
Head coach Éric Chelle made just one change to the side that started the semi-final win over Zimbabwe, with Rafiu Durosinmi replacing Philip Otele in the starting lineup.
Nigeria took control from the outset and opened the scoring in the third minute through Alhassan Yusuf.
The Super Eagles continued to dominate proceedings, and Terem Moffi doubled their advantage a minute before the hour mark.
Yusuf then completed his brace, and Nigeria’s third goal of the game, right on the stroke of full time.
Earlier in the day, Zimbabwe secured a third-place finish after edging India 1-0 in the third-place playoff.
