Chelsea have won the race for Sheffield Wednesday youngster Yisa Alao, Prompt News reports.
Alao, who is primally a left-back has Nigerian roots.
Liverpool, and Manchester United were all in the race for the youngster.
Chelsea however eventually secured his services after presenting the most attractive offer.
Top Transfer Expert Fabrizio Romano stated that Chelsea agreed a deal to sign Alao from Sheffield Wednesday for an initial fee of over £500k plus heavy add-ons.
This fee has the potential to increase to £6m through add-ons.
