Former Big Brother Naija Season 10 contestant Ifeyinwa Okafor, better known as Ivatar, has spoken about how her appearance sometimes led fans to misjudge her personality during her time on the show.
In an interview with Sunday Scoop, she explained that viewers expected her to be dramatic due to her tattoos and overall look.
“People have said that they expected more drama from me because of how I look, but I am naturally a very calm person. From the start, I made it clear that the stereotype people have about tattooed individuals doesn’t define me.
“I’m classy and intentional. Of course, I have a fun, crazy side, but only those I’m comfortable with will ever see that. I’m also a mother to an 18-year-old, so I can’t be reckless just to entertain anyone,” Ivatar said.

The reality star also addressed circulating rumors of a romance with fellow housemate Kaybobo, calling the claims untrue. She explained that a viral image suggesting they kissed was digitally altered.
“I was shocked when I saw that picture. It never happened. Kaybobo and I are just friends. We connect because we share similar interests, but there is nothing romantic between us,” she said.
Ivatar additionally reflected on her sometimes strained friendship with former ally Mensan. While they connected over shared experiences, she admitted she might have handled the friendship differently.
“Maybe I shouldn’t have pulled him into my corner because I felt he was lonely, like I was. We shared some fun moments, but I believe in setting boundaries, and I’ll always stick to that,” she noted.
Through her reflections, Ivatar gives fans a clearer view of her true personality, showing that her calm demeanor and thoughtful approach often contrasted with the assumptions made based on her appearance.
