Celebrity barman, Cubana Chief Priest has expressed his sadness over missing the lavish wedding of Afrobeat superstar Davido and his fiancée, Chioma.
Davido, one of Africa’s biggest music stars, and Chioma planned to tie the knot in the United States on Saturday.
However, Chief Priest revealed that he was unable to attend the ceremony because his U.S. visa was denied.
In an emotional Instagram post, he shared how the situation left him with “mixed feelings,” celebrating the couple’s joy but mourning his absence. He pleaded with the U.S. Embassy in Nigeria to grant him entry in the future.

He wrote: “Woke up this morning with mixed feelings, I’m happy and I’m still sad at the same time… You can clearly see how disappointed & hurt the world is to see me absent at my best friend’s wedding. You need to give me access to get my fat ass into America. Well, delay is never denial, CP is still hopeful.”
Although he was not physically present, Chief Priest’s wife attended the wedding to represent him.
He ended his message with a renewed appeal to the embassy: “I’m in again next week, please give me access to the greatest country in the world. This pain is really paining.”
