Blessing CEO Cries Out Over IVD’s Arrest

Nigerian relationship coach and social media personality, Blessing Okoro, popularly known as Blessing CEO, has expressed outrage over the arrest of her fiancé, Ikechukwu Ogbonna, also known as IVD.

IVD, a renowned auto dealer, was reportedly arrested at the airport while preparing to travel to Qatar. His apprehension is believed to be tied to the lingering legal battle surrounding the death of his wife, Bimbo, in a domestic violence case still pending in court. It is alleged that a travel restriction was placed on him due to the ongoing proceedings.

However, Blessing CEO refuted the claim, stating that there was no official restriction preventing him from leaving the country.

“There was no ban whatsoever on him,” she said in a post on Instagram.

She argued that IVD had consistently honoured court dates for the past three years, questioning why he would attempt to flee now over a short vacation.

“IVD has never jumped bail for three years of the ongoing case, so why would he run away now for just a 10-day trip with a return ticket?”

Blessing further alleged that the arrest was politically motivated and driven by the influence of a powerful figure.

“No case file, no statement—just an order from ‘Oga’ to hold him till Monday. This is not justice; it’s bullying,” she said.

She described the situation as unfair and accused the authorities of weaponising power against IVD because he is a man.

“This is injustice. They have bullied him for over three years,” she wrote.

Calling on the Lagos State government to act swiftly, Blessing CEO warned that continued harassment could provoke a wider crisis if not urgently addressed.
