Falconets head coach, Chris Danjuma has reflected on the team’s impressive victory over Senegal in the women’s football event at the 13th African Games.
The defending champions were at their ruthless best trouncing the Senegalese 4-0 on the night and booking a place in the semi-finals in the process.
Loveth Edeh scored the opener on 13 minutes.
The Falconets scored three more goals in the second half through Motunrayo Ezekiel, Aisha Kales (own goal) and Chioma Olise.

“Our mentality coming into this game was to improve on the Morocco game by three times. We needed to keep going till it was beyond their reach.”
The Falconets will face the second-place team in Group A in the semi-finals.
