Nigeria’s Flying Eagles will take on Uganda in their opening Group B game of the men’s football event at the 13th African Games on Thursday (today).
The encounter at the Ghana Sports Stadium, Legon will start at 8pm.
Ladan Bosso’s side will also face South Sudan and Senegal in the same group.
Bosso, who named familiar faces Daniel Bameyi and Daniel Daga and Nathaniel Nwosu in his 20-man squad will be opening for perfect start against the Ugandans.
The Flying Eagles emerged as runners-up in the men’s football event at the 12th African Games held in Rabat, Morocco, in October 2019, narrowly losing to Burkina Faso in the final.

Hosts Ghana, Congo, Benin Republic and The Gambia are in Group A.
