Semi Ajayi is doubtful for Nigeria’s 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers against Lesotho and Zimbabwe.
Ajayi missed Sky Bet Championship club West Bromwich Albion’s league clash against Queens Park Rangers on Tuesday night due to injury.
West Brom manager Carlos Corberan provided a fitness update on his squad after the game.
“Semi Ajayi, when he was playing in the last ten minutes of the Plymouth game, he turned his ankle,”said Corberan.
“He suffered the same injury as he had before the international break.”

The Super Eagles will entertain the Crocodiles of Lesotho in a matchday one encounter at the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium, Uyo on Friday, November 17.
The West Africans will face the Warriors of Zimbabwe three days later at the Amarhoro Stadium, Kigali.
