There are strong indications that Governor Oluwarotimi Akeredolu of Ondo State may return to the state in no distant time.
Akeredolu had left the country two months ago after he wrote to the State House of Assembly of his intention to proceed on medical leave abroad.
He also transmitted power to his Deputy Lucky Aiyedatiwa who is now the Acting Governor of the Sunshine State.
After speculations were rife about the death of the Governor, his wife, Betty Anyanwu-Akeredolu, shared a terse video posing beside her husband who looked healthy and vigorous on a motorable chair at an undisclosed hospital in Germany.
On Monday, Betty signaled the quick return of the Governor on her verified Facebook account. READ ALSO:

She captioned on a national daily she uploaded on Facebook, saying “My Pipu home dey smell o”, using some smileys of happiness and laughter.
As her post suggested that Akeredolu may momentarily arrive the state, PROMPT NEWS gathered from highly placed sources that the Governor had returned to Nigeria and now in Ibadan.
