Nigeria’s Super Falcons will face Ethiopia in the second round of the qualifiers for the 2024 Olympic Games.
Ethiopia walloped Chad 10-0 on aggregate in their first round qualifying tie.
The Walya Ladies won the first leg 6-0 away from home.
The East African then did the double over their opponent claiming a 4-0 victory in the second leg in Addis Ababa.
Senaf Wakuma netted a brace for the hosts, while Loza Abera and Turist Lena scored the other goals for the Ethiopians in the game.
Ethiopia will host the Super Falcons in the first leg, while the reverse fixture will hold in Nigeria.
The encounter is scheduled between 23-31, October 2023.
Only two countries will represent Africa in the women’s football event at the Paris 2024 games.
The Super Falcons have failed to secure a berth at the last three editions of the Olympic Games.
