The presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Muhammadu Buhari will today (Wednesday) announced his running mate ahead of the 2015 presidential election.
The national chairman of APC, John Odigie-Oyegun, disclosed this after the meeting of the National Working Committee (NWC) in Abuja.
According to him, the party has already made a choice but insisted the presidential candidate, Buhari would make the announcement at a news conference.
“The choice is not delayed. The candidate will speak to you people. I have a feeling he will speak to you tomorrow.
“The party has consulted with the candidate and we have reached some agreement and he will address you tomorrow,” Oyegun said.
Buhari emerged the APC presidential candidate at the party’s primaries held in Lagos last week, defeating four other aspirants- former Vice President Atiku Abubakar, Governors Rabiu Kwankwaso and Rochas Okorocha and Leadership Newspaper Publisher, Mr Nda Isaiah.
