Nigeria Police Force on Wednesday said it will carry out a mock security exercise at the Garki Mall in Abuja on Thursday 27th November from 8.00am to 6.00pm.
According to a statement by Force Public Relations Officer, Acting CP Emmanuel Ojukwu, the exercise will be conducted in conjunction with other security agencies.
“This exercise is a mock drill, necessitated due to the prevailing security situation. Abuja residents/visitors will witness a massive movement of law enforcement assets and personnel to and from different locations of the Capital City and the site of the exercise.
“The public is enjoined not to entertain any fear as the exercise is purely a mock practice, and no harm is intended please, Ojukwu stated.
