By Godwin Kingsley, Lafia A suspected robber has been burnt to death by angry mob today for alleging stealing 400,000 naira from a Diamond Bank customer in Lafia.
The suspected robber was said to have carried out the operation with a colleague who escaped as they were been tracked down by mobs.
The victim, Musa Adagazu who narrated the incidence to Prompt News Online said” i just withdrew 400,000 naira from Diamond Bank and I wanted to go and pay it into First Bank, then two of them attacked me and collected the money.
He added that” i started shouting and people chased him and caught him. When contacted, the Police Public Relations Officer Ibrahim Numa, confirmed the incident but said they were still assessing the incidence and would release an official statement thereafter.
