Nigerian music legend Innocent Idibia, popularly known as 2Baba, has confirmed his romantic involvement with Edo State lawmaker Natasha Osawaru, sparking widespread reactions on social media.
The revelation follows his recent divorce from actress Annie Idibia, with the singer openly expressing his desire to marry Osawaru.
Speculation about their relationship had been growing after 2Baba was seen visiting the Edo State Assembly and later spotted at a Lagos club with Osawaru. Addressing the rumors on Instagram, the singer posted a video clarifying the situation and defending Osawaru against allegations that she was responsible for his marriage ending.
In the video, he stated:
“I have seen so many false narratives and malicious nonsense since I made that post. Yes, I posted what I posted. Hon. Natasha has been dragged and labeled a homebreaker, but she had nothing to do with my marital issues with Annie.”
Confirming his feelings, 2Baba declared, “Yes, I love her. She is amazing, she is cool, and I want to marry her.”
His statement has since fueled further discussions online, with mixed reactions from fans and followers.
