Super Eagles head coach, Finidi George says the Super Eagles must not give up on their hopes of making it to the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
The West Africans suffered an embarrassing 2-1 loss to neighbours Benin Republic at the Felix Houphouet Boigny Stadium, Abidjan on Monday.
Nigeria remain in fifth position on the Group C table with three draws and one defeat from four games.
Finidi said it is important for the Super Eagles to keep fighting.
Speaking on the disappointing defeat, Finidi said:”There’s no special formula to win we have to see how the players will start a new season now and see how we can get the beat out of the players.
“Everybody must be committed and I believe with commitment we will win games. I believe we are going to win games and if we can win games the battle will still be there. READ ALSO:
