FIFA has appointed South African officials for 2026 FIFA World Cup playoffs between the Super Eagles of Nigeria and Panthers of Gabon, Prompt News reports.
Tom Abongile will be at the centre, and will be assisted by his compatriots; Siwela Zakhele Thusi (assistant referee), and Makalima Akhona Zennith (Video Assistant Referee, VAR).
FIFA has also appointed Benin Republic’s Adjovi Hugues as the referee assessor.
The playoffs semi-final will hold at the El Barid Stadium, Rabat next week Thursday.
The Indomitable Lions of Cameroon, and Leopards of Democratic Republic of Congo will clash in the other last four tie.
The final is slated for Rabat on Sunday, 16 November.
