Flying Eagles striker Ricky Mendos has declared that the team will go all out for a win against Kenya in Wednesday’s clash at the June 30 Air Defence Stadium, Cairo, Prompt News reports.

Aliyu Zubairu’s side have recorded four points from two games in the competition.

The nine-time champions defeated Tunisia 1-0 in their first game, and were held to a 0-0 draw in the second fixture.

They occupy second position in Group B with four points, while Kenya are bottom with zero point.

Mendos reckoned they have enough quality to beat the Kenyans.

“We have prepared well, the coaches have done well with us. We know how important this game is to our target in this competition,” he told the team’s media officer, Shariff Abdallah.

” We will go all out and fight for the maximum points. It is important for us to win and top the group.”
