Super Falcons midfielder, Toni Payne claimed the Super Falcons have what it takes to beat any opposition at 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup.
The West Africans showed their readiness for competition with an emphatic 8-1 victory against Australian club, Queensland Lions FC in a test game on Saturday morning.
Payne, who was among the goal scorers for the Super Falcons in the game insisted that the team is ready to go all the way in Australia and New Zealand.
“We are on the same level as France and Australia, and we are very confident. With the players we have here, we are ready to fight,” Payne told NFF TV.
“We are growing and improving our system every day with every training. Step by step, we are getting ready for our first game against Canada.”
The Super Falcons will kick -start their campaign at the World Cup against olympic champions Canada on Friday, July 21.
Randy Waldrum ‘s side will also face co-hosts Australia and Republic of Ireland in the same group.
