The 2023/24 Nigeria Professional Football League season will not kick-off on Saturday, August 26 as earlier announced.
The new season, according to reports will now start between September 8-10.
The draw ceremony for the new season will however hold in Lagos on Thursday.
The postponement was necessitated by the need to put proper logistics in place for a hitch free season.
The broadcast facilities that will ensure live streaming of matches are yet to be fully installed at designated stadia.
Test running of camera and training are also still ongoing at various stadia.
The NPFL Live App will broadcast over 300 games this season according to the NPFL Board and their partners.
