Ondo State Governor, Hon. Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa, on Saturday exercised his voting rights during the local government election in the state, emphasizing the importance of the process in driving grassroots development.
In a statement issued by his Chief Press Secretary, Prince Ebenezer Adeniyan, the Governor reaffirmed his administration’s dedication to strengthening the local government system in accordance with legal provisions.
Governor Aiyedatiwa voted at Polling Unit 5, Ugbo Ward 4, in Ilaje Local Government Area, where he praised the peaceful and well-organized electoral process.
While addressing journalists after casting his vote, the Governor lauded the Ondo State Independent Electoral Commission (ODIEC) for ensuring a smooth and transparent election.
He also expressed gratitude to the people of the state for their active participation in the exercise, which he described as vital to advancing development at the grassroots level.
