            Olojeme

Some prominent Urhobo leaders have assured the chairman, Nigeria Social Insurance Trust Fund (NSITF), Dr. Ngozi Olejeme, of their support as she intensifies lobby to become the governor of Delta State in 2015.

The leaders also urged Deltans at home and abroad to join them in giving the state a dynamic, courageous, humble, knowledgeable, strong and compassionate governor in 2015.

Speaking at different locations in Delta State, Head of the Ibori family, William Ibori,  Chairman of Delta State Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Elders Council, Gabriel Sefia, Commissioner in the Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC) representing Delta State, Tom Amioku, the  member representing Ughelli North/Ughelli South/Udu in the House of Representatives, Austin Ogbaburhon , Chairman of PDP in Ethiope West Local Government Area, Felix Oritsegbone, former Commissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs in Delta State, Moses Odibo, immediate past chairman, Udu Local Government Council, Dr. Henry Sakpra and others expressed their belief in Dr. Olejeme”s capacity to lead the state.

In Oghara, William Ibori and leaders of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Ethiope West promised to back her for the exalted office.

They praised Olejeme for her dynamic leadership, outstanding contribution and commitment to the development of human capital.

“Olejeme is not known to beat about the bush.  Whatever project she embarks upon, she saw to it successful execution. We believe so much in her. She is a trusted person and will not disappoint us. All our delegates will vote for her” Mr. Felix Oritsegbone, PDP Chairman, Ethiope West said.

“Leadership entails selfless service, dedication and zeal to serve rather than being served. We are satisfied with your profile and by the grace of God, you will be governor of the state in 2015. We are solidly behind you” Chief William Ibori said.

Olejeme also received encouragement from top Okpe leaders.

The leaders led by Tom Amioku urged Okpe sons and daughters to join them in working towards a woman governor in 2015.

“Leadership is not a function of tribe, sex or religion, but a matter of vision, determination and mission. Olejeme is a woman with a vision and a mission. She will take the state to a level higher than what we have as of now. She will make the difference” they promised.

In Udu Local Government Area, Olejeme extracted commitment from those that matter in the politics of the area.

The leaders assured Dr. Olejeme that their people will support her.

They also described her as easy going, intelligent, articulate and frank.

“Her achievements and humility have endeared her to us. When the time comes, she will assume her seat as the governor of the state” Sefia said.

In the three locations, Olejeme, who is yet to formally declare for the governorship race thanked the people for their support.
