The presidential candidate of the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, said he has stopped reading social media comments.
According to him, he stopped reading social media comments because of the manner his critics are abusing “the hell out” of him.
He also said he doesn’t want to have high blood pressure hence, his decision to avoid reading social comments.
In a video trending on social media, Tinubu said: “I don’t read social media anymore; they abuse the hell out of me.
“If I read it, I get high blood pressure and angry. I don’t read it, so if I want to hear anything; my children or my workers will say this one said this, and when I’m tired, I say please forget it!”
Prompt News Online recalls that Asiwaju Tinubu, at his 2023 presidential campaign flag off in Jos during the week, had mistakenly said: “God bless you, God bless Nigeria. God bless PD…APC,” sparking outrage.
However, the opposition Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) quickly claimed the blessing saying it was “Prophetic.”
“The prayer by the embattled Presidential Candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, for God’s blessing on the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) further confirms his innermost conviction that the PDP represents the hope and aspiration of majority of Nigerians for a secure, prosperous future under a united country,” PDP had claimed.
