By Gracious Akujobi Head coach of Supreme Court FC, Henry Haggai, has stated that his team’s confidence has been tremendously boosted after they posted a convincing 2-0 win against Sokoto United in its first home game over the weekend in Abuja.
So far, Supreme Court FC, playing in the National League has become the only team among other Abuja-based clubs to have recorded outright victory after playing two matches.
Despite posting an impressive performance in the last home encounter against Sokoto United, Haggai said he and his coaching crew will not relent to correct noticeable lapses adding that their immediate concern is to enhance their midfield which is the engine room of very team.
“I thank God for helping us to win our first home game. The victory will no doubt spur the players to push on.
“All I want is to plead with the organisers to provide an atmosphere of tranquility no matter where any club is playing. With fair play, I know that with the quality our players are made of, we will gain promotion to play in the premier league at the end of the season” he opined.
Supreme Court FC otherwise known as Apex Boys will on Tuesday depart the nation’s capital to Bauchi where they will be guest to Wikki Tourist FC in one of the mid-week matches to be played across various centers in the country.
