The Wase Fulani Consultative Forum on Western Education (WAFUCOFOWE) would on Saturday, January 6, 2018 organise a historic event, the Fulani Cultural Day, also known as Nyalde Pulaku.
The event would take place at the forecourt of the Palace of the Emir of Wase, His Royal Highness, Dr Muhammad Sambo Haruna.
This was disclosed by the President of Wase Fulani Consultative Forum on Western Education, Comrade Musa Abdulkadir Muh’d in a statement.
The event, the first of its kind, is aimed at reviving Fulani’s rich cultural norms and values, and to strengthen mutual coexistence in Wase local government of Plateau state.
The statement said the event would also be used to promote peace and unity among Fulani folks on one hand, and other ethnic groups in the area on the other hand.
Activities lined up for the event, according to the statement, include Fulani Cultural Display, Drama, Enlightenment Lecture and Launching of the Nyalde Pulaku Magazine, among others.
