The Flying Eagles of Nigeria will jet out of the country next week Tuesday for the WAFU B U-20 Championship.
Prompt News reports that the competition will start on Thursday, October 17, 2024.
Aliyu Zubairu’s side arrived Ikenne, Ogun State for their final preparation earlier this week.
The Flying Eagles will be looking to successfully defend the title they won two years ago in Niger Republic.
They are drawn in Group B with Burkina Faso and Cote d’Ivoire.
They will begin their title defence against Burkina Faso at the Municipal Stadium on Friday, October 18.
Nigeria will also battle Cote d’Ivoire on October 24 to conclude a three-team Group B.
