The Flying Eagles of Nigeria on Tuesday departs Lome, Togo for the WAFU- B U20 tournament.
The Nigerian team which is handled by the Technical Adviser of Elkanemi Warriors, Coach Aliyu Zubair departed for the neighbouring West African Nation at about 10:25am through the Muritala Muhammed International Airport in Lagos.
The team had their final phase of preparation at Remo Stars training complex in Ikenne.
The traveling contingent includes a 20 man list squad, Coaching crew, other backroom staff alongside NFF officials.
Flying Eagles of Nigeria are the defending champions of the tournament and have been drawn in Group B alongside Cote d’ivoire and Burkina Faso.
Nigeria will face the Burkina faso team in their opening match of the campaign on Friday, October 18 at the Municipal Stadium in Lome with the kick off set at 3pm local time.
