After seeing his team progress to the next round of qualification in the zonal volley ball qualifiers, Technical Director of Volleyball Federation, Tony Ogumah says the Federation needs funds to prosecute their next stage of qualifying matches.
Ogumah, who also doubles as member of the coaching crew stressed the importance of camping the athletes before their next qualification match.
“We will go back to try to raise fund to provide very conducive camping period for the athletes so that they can train hard and of course go to conquer Africa and then represent Africa at next year world championship,” he said.
Ogumah spoke on the need to strengthen both the male and female teams before the commencement of the next qualifiers
He said, “the importance of early camping cannot be overstated, we will strengthen both teams and also try to gather our athletes as early as possible for camping so as to achieve the desired result”
The Nigeria teams beat both the male and female Togolese teams 3 love to progress to the next round.
