Villarreal manager Quique Sentien has showered encomium on Samuel Chukwueze after the Nigerian played a key role in his side’s 2-1 home win against Valencia on Saturday, reports Prompt News.
Chukwueze was on target for the hosts at the Estadio de la Ceramica.
The winger equalised for the Yellow Submarine in the 45th canceling out Edison Cavani’s strike.
It was Chukwueze’s 30th career goal for Villarreal.
The game was also his 180th appearance for the club.
“He is a player who was already important before my arrival and now, he is at a good level,” Setien said after the game.
“Where I have had to think the most has been in the top positions, I have six players who could have started perfectly. Both Samu and the rest know that they have to give things to keep their position.”
