The Victorious Nigeria’s U-17 women’s football team, the Flamingos are back in the country after yesterday’s 2-0 win over the Egyptian girls at Petro Sport Stadium in Cairo in the FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup African qualifiers tie.
This is even as Nigeria recorded a 6-0 goal aggregate over Egypt after the Flamingos also thrashed Egypt 4-0 in the first leg match played at Moshood Abiola National Stadium, Abuja a fortnight ago.

Member of the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) touched down at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja, by 1:35 pm prompt.
The Nigerian contingent made up of players, coaching crew and administrative staff departed Cairo immediately after the match on Saturday aboard Ethiopian Airline which also airlifted the Nigerian delegation from Abuja to Cairo last Friday.
The team will wait for the result of the return leg tie between Ethiopia and South Africa which will be played in Addis Ababa on Sunday.
