The University of Jos has inaugurated a 10-man committee to restructure its Consultancy Company Ltd.
The Chairman of the Board of Dircetors of the company, Pastor Huhu Sani, inaugurated the committee on behalf of the university on Thursday in Jos.
Sani, who is also the National President, Alumni Association of the university, said that members of the committee were carefully selected based on their competency and professionalism.
“This is indeed a very serious assignment and I want to appeal to you all to put in your best so that we can restore the glory of the company.
“We have confidence that with the cream of personalities in this committee, you will deliver,” he said.
Sani said that the committee would be expected to examine the current structure of the company, determine its assets and liability, viability, restructure and make it productive and make recommendations.
The Chairman of the Committee, Sen. Ahmed Zuruq, who responded on behalf of other members, thanked the university for finding them worthy to undertake the assignment.
He promised that the committee would come up with suggestions and recommendations that would better the operations of the company.
The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that the committee is expected to submit its reports within six weeks.(NAN)
