Victor Osimhen is in line to make history when Galatasaray take on Bodo/Glimt in a UEFA Champions League encounter at the RAMS Park on Wednesday (today), Prompt News reports.
Osimhen is poised to become the first Galatasaray player to score in seven consecutive European games.
The record was previously held by Burak Yilmaz’s, who scored in six consecutive European games in 2012.
Osimhen equaled Yilmaz’s record after netting the winning goal in Galatasaray’s 1-0 home win over Liverpool last month.
The Nigeria international is expected to be named in the starting line-up against Bodo/Glimt by head coach Okan Buruk.
The 26-year-old featured as a substitute in the Yellow and Reds 2-1 win at Istanbul Basaksehir last weekend.
He has scored three goals in seven appearances for Galatasaray this season.
