            Pillars's Ubale

By Gracious Akujobi    The week 31 rescheduled Glo Premier League match between Kano Pillars and Enyimba may have come and gone, but Pillars’ players are still basking in the euphoria of their 1-0 victory.

To further boost the players morale ahead of the remaining matches, the club’s management led by Abba Yola, paid the players double away bonus- N40, 000 each.

Manir Ubale, a second half substitute had scored the 89th minute goal that handed Pillars the much needed three goals and three points at Lokoja Confluence stadium.

An elated striker told Prompt News Online that victory over Enyimba will spur the Kano side to retain the title they won last season.
“I am happy to have scored the winner, now we are in a good position to win the league”
Continuing Ubale said he was sure of victory in their next game against Gombe United, adding that victory was sure for his team.
“We are going to Gombe to pick three maximum points and I know victory is ours because nothing will stop us from winning the league” an excited Ubale stated.
Meanwhile coach of Kano Pillars, Babaganaru Muhammed said his team will take it one game at a time for the remaining games left for the season.
Pillars now top the league table with 60 points from 35 matches played.
