Nigeria’s Falconets have been drawn in Pot 2 ahead of the 2026 FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup draw ceremony scheduled for Friday at the EC1 Cultural Centre in Łódź, Poland, Prompt News reports.
The seven-time African champions are grouped alongside USA, Colombia, Mexico, Canada, and New Zealand in Pot 2.
The Falconets sealed qualification for the 24-team tournament over the weekend, extending their record as one of the few teams to have featured in every edition of the competition.
Head coach Moses Aduku and Team Administrator Kelechi Omeke are expected to represent Nigeria at the draw ceremony.
The 2026 FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup will be held in four Polish cities — Łódź, Katowice, Sosnowiec, and Bielsko-Biała — from September 5 to September 27, 2026.
