Central African Republic will keep a date with Nigeria’s Flamingos in the second round of the 2024 FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup qualifying series.
While the Flamingos were drawn into the second round, Central African Republic secured their ticket after Mauritius withdrew from the race.
Mauritius and Central African Republic were scheduled to face off in the first round this month.
Lack of funds to prosecute the qualifiers necessitated Mauritius withdrawal.
The second round clash between Nigeria and Central African Republic will hold from February 2 to 11, 2024.
The Flamingos finished in third position at the last edition of the U-17 Women’s World Cup hosted by India.
Dominican Republic will host the next edition of the competition from October 16 to November 3, 2024. READ ALSO:
